Returns Policy

RETURNS POLICY

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, any item may be returned to us, carriage paid by yourself, WITHIN 14 DAYS of receipt.

For ITEMS RETURNED LATE, any replacement offered will be solely at our discretion, any refund offered may be by way of a credit voucher for use against future purchases from The Scale Workshop.

Please note: we are unable to refund postage and packing on items returned to us, unless due to a fault with the item.

WE ABSOLUTELY RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE AN EXCHANGE OR REFUND IF THE RETURNED ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNED IN NEW SALEABLE, CONDITION. ALL ITEMS MUST BE UNDAMAGED, CLEAN, CAREFULLY PACKED WITH ALL LABELS ATTACHED AND IN THE ORIGINAL, MANUFACTURERS PACKAGING AS SUPPLIED.

HOW TO RETURN ITEMS:

Please phone us on 07866 728255 or send an email to support@thescaleworkshop.co.uk and let us know that you are returning items before sending the goods. The items you are returning must be sent back to us by a suitable method and at your expense, we cannot accept responsibility for goods which are lost whilst being returned to us. For this reason we would recommend a trackable service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery and that you get a proof of postage.

If the return is due to a fault, please check with us what service we would like it sent on as we can not refund for premium services that we have not authorised.

Refunds will only be made to the original card used for the purchase and normally take 10 to 14 banking days to process.

We guarantee all of our products to be free of defects for 90 days, most are covered by the manufacturers warranty for 12 months. If you receive a defective product, please email us at support@thescaleworkshop.co.uk to arrange an exchange or refund. You may also phone us on 07866 728255, this number is normally available Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 17:30.

We aim to replace any defective items with replacements. If this is not possible we will refund you. Exchanged items will only be sent after we have received the defective item back from you in its original packaging at your own cost. Please consult our contact details for the return address.

Warranty on all items sold by us is limited to the replacement cost of the item purchased and does not cover any consequential loss.
